Appointments
Appointments
We encourage making advance (6-8 weeks) scheduling of well child visits. For
infants and toddlers please schedule your next check up at the end
of your visit.
We try our best to see sick children on the same day with appointments. We do
not take walk in appointments. If you arrive without an appointment
we may be able to fit you in at the next available appointment time but not assured.
If your child is already scheduled for a well child visit, but happens to
be sick, we may still be able to do the well visit. Please call the office for advice.
Telephone Advice
Calls During Office Hours
Parents are encouraged to call during normal office hours with routine questions. The office staff is trained to answer most non-clinical questions. For medical questions or problems, the staff will take the message to the physician and/or the nurse. Your call may not be returned until after the physician finishes seeing our patients in the office. Please be sure to let the staff know if your situation is an emergency and requires an immediate call back.
After Hours
If your child becomes acutely ill or injured after office
hours and you cannot wait until the next morning to talk to your
doctor, you can reach Dr. Kumar at 909-590-7356. You will be asked to leave a message and your call will be returned, usually with in 30 minutes. Be sure to give your child’s full name, age and your main concern.
Please save routine calls (Prescription refills, appointments, etc. for next business day).
